SC Paderborn v RasenBallsport Leipzig
Football ; Germany : 2.Bundesliga
Benteler Arena – Paderborn
Friday, 26th February 2016 - kickoff 18:30 CET

SC Paderborn

SC Paderborn managed to earn just one point in their last week`s 1-1 away draw against Arminia Bielefeld. That was their tenth consecutive game in the 2.Bundesliga in which they failed to get a victory. SC Paderborn suffered four defeats in their last six matches, and they still occupy the relegation playoff spot.

SC Paderborn are currently six points behind safety, and their coach Stefan Effenberg is under big pressure in front of this match. There are some news reports that he may get sacked if he fails to win in the next couple of games.

Despite their relegation struggles, SC Paderborn have been relatively solid in their recent home matches. They were unbeaten in five straight home matches, recording one victory and four straight draws, before heavily losing their last home game with 0-4 against Kaiserslautern.

RasenBallsport Leipzig

RB Leipzig are marching towards Bundesliga, and last weekend they achieved their biggest victory of the season. They comfortably beat Union Berlin with 3-0, and restored their confidence after previously losing with 1-0 against St.Pauli.

RB Leipzig won 11 of their last 13 matches in the 2.Bundesliga, and they will surely play in the Bundesliga next season. They lost just three times in their 22 matches played so far, and two of those three defeats came at their home ground.

RB Leipzig also improved offensively in the past couple of months, scoring at least two goals in five of their last six 2.Bundesliga matches.

RB Leipzig`s attacking trio of Davie Selke, Emil Forsberg and Marcel Sabitzer have scored 20 of RB Leipzig`s total of 36 goals scored this season.
