Excelsior have three players missing through injury for the visit of PSV, they are Alessandro Damen, Jurgen Mattheij and Bas Kuipers. Manager Alfons Groenendijk has no other injury or suspension worries ahead of this match.
PSV manager Phillip Cocu, can welcome full-back Santiago Arias back in to the squad following suspension and he should go straight back in to the starting XI. Therefore, the PSV boss has a full squad to choose from and could give a first start of the season to Jetro Willems at left-back.
